Eau Claire Man Arrested for OWI in Jackson County

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) An Eau Claire man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.

According to a press release from WisDOT, on March 27 around 6:30 p.m., the Wisconsin State Patrol - Eau Claire Post received a complaint of a gray Dodge Pickup Truck all over the road.

A trooper conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, 60-year-old Jeffrey Andrews and observed indicators of impairment. A roadside investigation was conducted which included field sobriety testing.

Andrews was arrested and a legal blood draw was conducted at an area hospital before he was transported to Jackson County Jail.
