Local Teachers and Principals Receive 2026 Teacher and Principal Leadership Fellowship Awards

The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation has proudly announced the 2026 Teacher Fellowship and Principal Leadership Award Fellowships.

100 teachers were selected to receive the Teacher Fellowship and will receive $6,000. 15 principals were selected for the Principal Leadership Fellowship and will receive $6,000. Each recipient’s school will also receive a $6,000 matching grant. Some local recipients of the Principal Leadership Fellowship include Jill Lybert of Medford of Medford High School.

Some local recipients of the Teacher Fellows include Joni Feidt of Rudolph at the Grant Elementary School in Wisconsin Rapids, Justin Glodowski of Stratford at the Marshfield High School, Sarah Faude of Medford at the Medford Elementary School, Kylie Weiler of Medford at the Medford Elementary School, and Kayla Velasquez of Chippewa Falls at Osseo-Fairchild High School.
