Thursday, March 26th, 2026 -- 10:00 AM
(WEAU Staff, WEAU) Gov. Tony Evers signed a $17.37 million contract for a resurfacing project in Clark County on WIS 29, according to WEAU staff.
According to a press release from WisDOT, the project will span from County D in Owen east to WIS 13 in Abbotsford. Construction is scheduled to start Monday, March 30 and scheduled for completion in early October.
Work includes repairing existing concrete pavement and ramps at the County E interchange, overlaying ramps with asphalt, replacing guardrails, cleaning and repairing culverts to improve drainage and completing minor grading of ditches.
WIS 29 will remain open but there will be single-lane closures during pavement and bridge repair work and asphalt paving, with all lanes open to weekend traffic.
Interchange ramps at County E and Cardinal Avenue will be closed during pavement repair and asphalt paving. Traffic will be directed to the next interchange and then circle back onto WIS 29 to a corresponding open ramp when ramps are closed.
