Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library Will be Closed April 13th-15th
Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 -- 9:00 AM
The Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library will be closed April 13-15 as their South Central Library System consortium transitions to a new Integrated Library System (ILS).
The temporary closure will allow time to complete the changeover, test the new system, and ensure that circulation, catalog access, and account services function smoothly when the library reopens on April 16.
Please keep in mind that, even with the days of preparation, Library service will be somewhat limited when they are reopened. During the closure, patrons will not be able to check out or return materials inside the building.
Access to the online catalog and other online services will be down. Due dates that fall within the closure period will automatically be extended, and no late fees incurred during that time period will be charged.
Library staff will use this time to verify records, update equipment, and train on the new system so they can better assist patrons once services resume. The upgraded ILS is expected to provide a more user-friendly catalog, improved search capabilities, and faster checkout processes.
The library appreciates the community’s patience during this transition and looks forward to welcoming patrons back when regular hours resume.
