Arizona Woman Charged With Attempting to Bring Drugs Into Jackson County Correctional Institution

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A woman is accused of attempting to bring drugs into Jackson Correctional Institution, according to WEAU staff.
According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, on March 10, 2026, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by staff at the Jackson Correctional Institution regarding someone trying to bring drugs into their facility at N6500 Haipek Road, Town of Brockway.
Following investigation, a suspect was identified as 26-year-old Valencia Nash of Phoenix, Arizona. The press release says based on the information gathered, it was believed Nash was attempting to deliver cocaine to an inmate during visitations.
Nash arrived at the facility and was interviewed. Nash admitted to bringing in cocaine for an inmate at the facility. About 6 grams of cocaine was found on Nash. Authorities also searched the vehicle Nash arrived in and found suspected MDMA (extasy).
After further investigation, authorities searched a rental property in Appleton, Wis., where additional suspected cocaine was found. Nash was booked into the Jackson County Jail and charges have been filed for Deliver Illegal Articles to Inmate (Felony), Possess with Intent to Deliver-Cocaine (Felony), and Possess Amphetamine/LSD/Psilocin.
