A Galesville woman arrested for her 4th OWI in the City of Neillsville appeared in Clark County Court on Wednesday.
According to a release from the Neillsville Department, on November 7th of last year, a patrol officer with the Neillsville Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Hewett Street for an equipment violation.
As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver exited and ran toward a nearby residence. After a brief foot pursuit, the officer located the driver, identified as Hilary Brantner of Galesville, hiding in some bushes.
When the officer attempted to take Brantner into custody, she resisted by pulling away and refusing to comply with commands. The officer eventually placed her under arrest.
She’s facing charges of 4th OWI, two counts of resisting/obstructing an officer, operating while revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 4th operating with a PAC.
During her arraignment on Wednesday, she entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her. However, a plea and sentencing hearing has been scheduled for April 28th.
