Flag Sojourn 250 Stops at The Highground Veterans Memorial

The Flag Sojourn 250 made a stop at the Highground Friday afternoon February 27th as it makes its way to every U.S state, every U.S territory, and every U.S military cemetery overseas.

The flag’s journey will conclude when it’s flown in the 13 original colonies and then in Washington DC. Clark County Sheriff Kerry Kirn and Highground staff participated in the raising ceremony at the Highground just west of Neillsville. It will fly there for a few days before continuing its journey.

The Department was honored and humbled to be a part of this shared journey to pay respect and honor to our nation’s history and our heroes.
