Abbotsford High School Art Students Participate in Marawood Art Conference

Abbotsford High School Art students got the opportunity to participate in the Marawood Art Conference on February 18th.

They had the opportunity to meet local artist Scott Bargander and see a demonstration of his chainsaw art, and then participate in various workshops with different local artists as well.

The students with art on display are Ariana Myhailenko, Max Severson, Gavin Reis, Matt Jakel, and Raymond Huynh. A special congrats to Matt Jakel on winning best in show for his artworks titled "Bismark," and "Edmund Fitzgerald."

The student's chosen artworks are part of an exhibition that is on display in the Loft Gallery at the Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau. It is open to the public from February 18th through March 14th.
