Clark County Board of Supervisors Accepts Grant for ADRC of Clark County

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution accepting a grant from the Clark County Community Foundation.

The ADRC received a $1,000 grant from the Clark County Community Foundation, which will be used to provide more services to the elderly residents of Clark County. The Board also approved leasing 124.1 acres of land for ag purposes to Berry Farms for 3 years at a cost of $23,020.56 per year.

The Board then approved a resolution purchasing 8 acres of property from the City of Neillsville that is abutting the Clark County Fairgrounds at a cost of $114,000. The Board also approved amending their donation policy stating that department heads can now accept donations up to $5,000 instead of $1,000.

The Board accepted a monetary donation of $15,033.82 from Groffdale Old Order Mennonite Community for highway maintenance. The Board then passed a resolution supporting State Assembly Bill 900 that would prohibit farmland preservation tax credits for qualifying acres occupied by solar energy systems not integral to agriculture.

Finally, the Board approved affirming Kyle Chamberlin as the new County Treasurer. He began officially on December 31st of last year. The Board also heard an Ad Hoc Human Service Presentation.
