Blossom is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Oreo

Age: 1-Year-Old

Breed: Heeler Mix

Meet Oreo, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Oreo came to CCHS as a stray from the township of Weston near Greenwood towards the very end of January. This gorgeous Heeler mix is about 1 year old and weighs roughly 42.8# currently.

Oreo is a lovely lady with her medium-length coat that's white with patches of black and lots of speckles. Oreo is as sweet as can be! She has a never-ending smile and a tail that seems to be wagging any time she's awake!

We don't have much information on her prior life given that she came in as a stray, but from what we've seen, she is intelligent and kind and ready to love on anyone she comes to meet!

With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Oreo today! You can submit your adoption application on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

February just got meow-gical at Clark County Humane Society! Love is officially in the air. A wonderful supporter is sponsoring cat adoption fees all month long, so you can swipe right on your purrfect match for an everlasting love without the fee.

We’re incredibly grateful for this special supporter's kindness, and can’t wait for you to meet your furever furry friend. Standard adoption policies and procedures still apply. We have an amazing group of cats and kittens at the Shelter to pick from right now.  Warning: falling in love is basically guaranteed!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Oreo, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
