Aspirus Wausau Hospital has been recognized on the Forbes Top Hospitals 2026 list, earning national distinction for performance across quality, safety, and patient care measures.

The Forbes Top Hospitals list evaluates general acute care hospitals nationwide using publicly available data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Provider Data Catalog.

Hospitals are assessed across multiple performance domains, including mortality, complications, hospital acquired infections, readmissions, patient experience, value of care, and adherence to clinical best practices. Hospitals included on the list demonstrated strong overall performance across these measures.
