(By Tom Loucks/Communications Director) To ensure fairness and transparency, the City regularly publishes bids, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), allowing contractors, consultants, and service providers to compete for City work through an open and competitive process.

According to Tom Loucks, Communications Director with the City of Marshfield, each bid or proposal includes clear information about what the City is seeking, how to submit a response, and key deadlines.

While the City welcomes proposals, submitting a bid or proposal does not guarantee that a contract will be awarded, and the City does not cover the costs of preparing submissions.

Current bidding opportunities are updated regularly on the City's website. Businesses and vendors are encouraged to check back often or sign up to receive notifications when new bids, RFPs, or RFQs are posted.

By publicly sharing these opportunities, the City of Marshfield aims to use taxpayer dollars responsibly while building strong partnerships with the private sector.

For more information or to view current bids and proposals, visit the City of Marshfield's official website. If you're looking to sign up to receive a text or e-mail notice, visit our page here, and look for the Bids, RFPs, and RFQs.
