Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield (RMHC) is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Grab & Go Meals program, which has already provided over 4,300 meals to families and guests at Marshfield Children’s Hospital.
The program delivers small, homemade meals to families in the Birth Center/OB and Pediatrics/Pediatric Intensive Care areas, offering quick nourishment for parents and caregivers while their child receives medical treatment.
All families and guests, whether staying at the Ronald McDonald House or not, have access to these heartwarming meals, any time of day or night. “This program isn’t just about feeding families,” said John Bauer, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield.
“It’s about comfort, connection, and showing families that they are not alone during challenging times.” Additionally, the program supports the global Ronald McDonald House mission of nourishing families, serving more families, and serving them better.
Grab & Go Meals are made possible by generous support from the Kim and Cheryl Heiman Family Foundation. Special thanks to dedicated RMHC volunteers, who cook and deliver meals multiple times each week.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield thanks all hospital partners, volunteers and community supporters who make this program possible, bringing care and hope to families when they need it most.
