On Auburndale’s 100th Day of School, Local Man Comes and Celebrates His 100th Birthday

On Auburndale’s 100th day of school, the school was honored to welcome Mr. Don Sleeter to the Auburndale Elementary School to celebrate his 100th birthday.

Mr. Sleeter is a World War II Veteran who served in the Marine Corps and also served as a law enforcement officer in Wood County. Mr. Sleeter was able to talk to the students about his experiences in the Marine Corps and gave some amazing advice to the students on how he has lived his life.

They would like to wish Mr. Don Sleeter a happy 100th birthday and thank him for his many years of service to our country and to Wood County.
