Mosinee Woman Pleads No Contest to Drug Charges

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Mosinee woman has pleaded no contest to a pair of drug-related charges as part of a deal covering multiple cases.
According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, Allea Diehl was facing multiple counts of bail jumping and drug-related charges in four cases. On Friday, the 35-year-old pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Charges that were dismissed as part of the deal include maintaining a drug trafficking place and a second count for possession of meth. Diehl was then handed a deferred entry of judgment, meaning if she completes all counseling, probation, and other terms within five years, she will serve no prison time.
Any new criminal charges within that five-year timeframe will trigger a harsher punishment. Charges stem from a late 2023 tip from an informant about a cache of drugs that was being stored in Diehl’s Mosinee home.
When officers arrived, they found the drugs, but Diehl was missing. They immediately tracked her cell phone to the Hayward area but were unable to catch up to her.
Then, in early January, another cell phone ping led them back to the Deer Trail Village Mobile Home Park near Mosinee, where she was arrested.
