Andrew Peters Memorial Hockey Game Being Held on February 12th

On February 12th, starting at 7pm, at the Marshfield Youth Hockey Arena, the Andrew Peters Memorial Hockey game is being held.

I spoke with Lisa Schindler and she discussed the Memorial Game and Andrew Peters in more detail.

Once again, the game is being held on February 12th at 7pm in the Marshfield Youth Hockey Arena.

Lisa: "So, this is our third annual Andrew Peters Memorial game and this is to remember Andrew Peters, who was a student in Marshfield, and also played hockey at the Marshfield Youth Hockey Arena. And so he graduated from Marshfield and he went on to serve over in Ukraine and he passed away while he was over in Ukraine."

Lisa: "Yes, this game is being held at the Marshfield Youth Hockey Arena right in Marshfield. Puck drops at 7pm and there will be a Color Guard Ceremony at about 6:50pm as well as the singing of the National Anthem by a special guest."

 

Riley: "And now, if there are individuals out there who are maybe interested in donating towards the scholarship fund, maybe they won't be able to make it to the game, but they'd still like to help out. Is there a way for them to do that?"

 

Lisa: "Yes, there is a way that they can donate to the scholarship fund and those checks can be written to the Community Foundation in Marshfield."

 

Riley: "Anything else?"

 

Lisa: "We're just really hoping to honor the Andrew Peters family and represent Andrew and fill the stands and just show them some support from the community for their son."
