First Property Tax Installment for the City of Marshfield Due by this Saturday

(By Tom Loucks/Communications Director) Property tax Installment 1 payments for the City of Marshfield are due January 31, 2026.

According to Tom Loucks, Communications Director with the City of Marshfield, please note: The U.S. Postal Service has changed its mail postmarking processes. It’s no longer the date that USPS first touches it. It’s stamped at the sorting centers.

If property owners wait until the last minute (for example, the last week in January), then some of the mail might be postmarked after January. If the letter is postmarked after January, the payment is considered delinquent.

To avoid delays or penalties, we strongly recommend mailing payments early and planning ahead.
