One Person in Custody After Stabbing Incident in Jackson County

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) One person is in custody following a stabbing incident in Jackson County, according to WEAU staff.
According to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, on Jan. 20, 2026, at about 4:54 a.m., authorities received a report of an adult at a local hospital who had suffered multiple stab wounds.
The victim reported being in a fight with another adult at a home on Sand Pillow Road in the Town of Brockway. As the two adults were fighting, one was armed with a kitchen knife. The victim suffered non-life-threatening sharp force injuries during the fight. Deputies found the other person involved and an arrest was made.
20-year-old Kylene E.M. Cloud of Black River Falls, Wis. was booked into the Jackson County Jail on suspicion of substantial battery and recklessly endangering safety. This incident is under investigation.
