Former Jackson County Corrections Officer Appears in Court for Domestic Disturbance Incident

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A former Jackson County Sheriff’s employee arrested for domestic incident appears in Jackson County Court on Wednesday.
According to WEAU staff, on Sunday, July 20th, of last year, the Jackson County Communications Center received a phone call from a female regarding a possible domestic related incident in progress involving her fiancé.
According to a press release, while enroute, it was discovered that the male subject was a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office employee working as a corrections officer.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office requested immediate assistance from the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office due to the conflict of interest. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Loecken.
He was transported to the Trempealeau County Jail and charged with domestic related battery, strangulation, and disorderly conduct. Loecken was placed on administrative leave pending criminal investigation.
During his arraignment on Wednesday, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
