Wausau Fire Department Recognizes Six Members Who Successfully Complete Firefighter/Paramedic Apprenticeship

Wausau Fire Department is proud to recognize six members who have successfully completed their firefighter/paramedic apprenticeship program and are now fully licensed Firefighter-Paramedics serving the community.

Each of these members completed an intense apprenticeship while working full-time for WFD, balancing emergency response with over a 1,000 hours of classroom instruction, clinical training, and field experience, and successfully passing the National Registry Paramedic examination.

This is no small accomplishment and speaks to their dedication and commitment to the citizens of Wausau:
