Jackson County Fair Receives Two Awards at Wisconsin Association of Fair Convention

Jackson County Fair history was made last week at the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Convention.

For the first time ever, the Jackson County Fair is proud to be the home county to not one, but two coveted awards that were presented at the convention's Awards Banquet. Antique Superintendent, Mary Cooley, was awarded with the Wisconsin Association of Fairs VIP Award. This award is given to an individual fair supporter who is a non-fair board member.  Only 4 individuals are chosen throughout the state for this prestigious honor.

The Jackson County EMS Association was recognized as the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Volunteer Group Appreciation Award.  This award is given to only one group in the state that volunteers their time and talents for a county fair. The Jackson County EMS Association is made up of County Line, Hatfield, Hixton, Melrose, and Taylor First Responders along with Black River Falls Ambulance.
