Coronavirus Numbers for December 23rd

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 2,668 positive cases, an increase of 9 over yesterday.  Of those, 122 are currently active.  Clark County has had 47 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 461,015 positive cases (an increase of 2,403 over the previous day) and 4,545 deaths, an increase of 120 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 20,355, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

For our other neighboring counties:

In total, Chippewa has seen 5,666 positive and 65 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 8,857 positive and 70 deaths,

Jackson has seen 2,244 positive and 13 deaths.

Marathon has seen 11,410 positive and 145 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,534 positive and 13 deaths

And Wood has seen a total of 5,345 positive cases and 38 deaths.
