Wausau Police Department Receives $2,500 Donation for K-9 Unit

This past week the Wausau Police Department was honored to receive a $2,500 donation to their K-9 Unit Donation Fund from Lyle Nowak in remembrance of his late-wife, Marcey Nowak.

Marcey recently passed after a courageous battle with cancer and dementia and had asked in lieu of flowers for donations to be given to a memorial fund for our K-9 Unit. Marcey was a tremendous lover of animals, especially her German Shepherd dogs at home Race, Pupper and Ringo Star.

Lyle, along with his niece Heidi Wolfe, stopped by the office to present the donation, as well as gift K-9 Max with an abundance of love and petting. They thank Marcey, and to everyone who loved her, for contributing to this fund and supporting the dogs.
