Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative Re-Elects Three Dairy Farmers to Board of Directors

Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, the second largest dairy cooperative in the country based on milk volume, re-elected three dairy farmers to its board of directors during the cooperative’s annual business meeting at the 2026 Dairy Strong conference.

The three board members:

  • Michael Crinion, Ash Grove Dairy, LLP, in Lake Benton, Minn., was re-elected to the board. He continues to serve as Edge’s vice president and also serves as the Chair of the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers in Action.
  • Heidi Fischer, Fischer-Clark Dairy Farm, Inc., in Hatley, Wis., was re-elected to the board to serve another term as president. Fischer and her family milk over 1,000 cows and 2,800 acres. She was initially elected as president in 2025.
  • Josh Meissner, Norm-E-Lane, Inc., in Chili, Wis., was re-elected to the board. He farms on a multi-site dairy, encompassing 4,100 cows and 7,000 acres of cropland. Meissner’s father, Jerry, was one of the founding members of Edge. He continues to serve as board secretary.

Other board members: Jamie Witcpalek, Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy, treasurer; Justin Peterson, Creamery Creek; Brady Janzen, Riverview; Jay Stauffacher, Highway Dairy; Christina Zuiderveen, Black Soil Dairy; Mitch Davis, Davis Family Dairies, adviser; dairy economist Dr. Marin Bozic, Bozic, LLC, adviser; and Brody Stapel, Double Dutch Dairy, president emeritus.
