Prairie Run Dental Announces Addition of New Doctor: Dustin Tran

Prairie Run Dental is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Dustin Tran, expanding the practice’s ability to serve patients throughout the Marshfield area while maintaining its patient-first, relationship-based approach to care.

The addition of Dr. Tran allows Prairie Run Dental to increase appointment availability and continue providing personalized dental care to more individuals and families in the community.

Dr. Tran will practice alongside Prairie Run Dental’s long-time provider, Dr. Barry Cole, with both doctors providing patient care and working closely together to ensure continuity and consistency.

Dr. Tran grew up in Southern California and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he trained with world-class clinicians and served in leadership roles including class president and student body vice president.

Following graduation, he joined his professor’s private practice in Los Angeles, focusing on restorative and implant dentistry and developing a strong clinical foundation through attentive, hands-on care.

Seeking the opportunity to build deeper, long-term relationships with patients, Dr. Tran joined Prairie Run Dental to provide thoughtful, individualized care to the Marshfield community, an approach that closely aligns with the practice’s mission and values.

Prairie Run Dental is a privately owned dental office and is not contracted with insurance companies. While the practice submits claims to all dental insurance plans and handles the claims process on behalf of patients, it is not bound by insurance-driven limitations on treatment.

Depending on individual coverage, there may be a patient-responsibility balance after insurance payment. This model allows the practice to recommend and deliver care based on clinical need and long-term oral health, rather than insurance restrictions.

In addition, Prairie Run Dental offers an in-house Membership Plan designed for patients without traditional dental insurance. The Membership Plan provides preventive care at a predictable annual cost and includes benefits such as no deductibles, no yearly maximums, no pre-authorizations, and discounts on additional restorative dental services.
