CHAMBER BANQUET HELD

The Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Recognition Banquet Saturday night at the Neillsville American Legion.

Custom Heating and Cooling, Inc. was honored with the Business of the Year ? Excellence in Achievement Award.

"Thank you very much. The Chamber is a fantastic tool for everything we do." said owner Tim Voigt, "Our staff...I can't tell you how proud I am of them. The guys and the gals work very, very hard."

Shari Smith of Heart 2 Hands Quilt Shop was named Entrepreneur of the Year. "It really should say: To Shari Smith, family and friends," she said. "I wouldn't be able to have this business without my husband Ken. He's taught me anything and everything I know about business."

Smith went on to highlight the contributions of other family members and friends who helped get her business off the ground.

"I want to say thank you to all of you: the community. We all know the next year or so is going to be kind of rough. I hope all of us will continue to support small business," she concluded.

The James, Walter & Joyce Wetzel Farm was named Agri-Business of the Year, and salutes were given to:
