Wood County Snowmobile Trails Open Today

Wood County’s Snowmobile Trails are opening today, Wednesday, December 31.

There are early season conditions, so please ride with caution. Some trails may or may not be groomed, but clubs are working on it. Please stay on marked trails and respect all private and public property. Again, ride with caution.

Powers Bluff ski and tube hills will be OPEN all week thru January 4th. 10-1pm and 1-4pm sessions. Please check their website or Facebook page for ticket sales. The multi-use trail is groomed and open for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, & biking.

Current trail conditions for the single-track bike trail can be found at Trailbot.com, or on the trailbot app. The Nepco Lake County Park multi-use trail has been groomed for cross country skiing.

During the winter months, this trail is only open for cross country skiing. All other users must use the single-track trail. The Richfield 360 County Forest multi-use trails are groomed with a track set for cross country skiing.
