2025 Statistics for the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter

As 2025 comes to a close, the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter reflects on another successful year of saving lives and helping pets.

Their lifesaving work is not possible without the generosity of our community.

• 819 cats and dogs came through our doors
• 506 were adopted into loving homes
• 96 pets reunited with their owners
• 52 TNR and working cats released
• 452 stray cats and dogs brought to us
• 131 pet surrenders taken in
• 35 pets returned to the shelter
• 12 kittens born in our care
• 42 cats and dogs transferred in from other agencies
• 116 public cat spays/neuters
• 5 employees, more than 40 volunteers
