Marathon County Sheriff’s Corrections Officer Recognized by Central Wisconsin Hmong Professionals

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize Corrections Officer Sheng Lao who was recently recognized by the Central Wisconsin Hmong Professionals as the Public Safety Professional of the Year at their annual awards recognition.

Corrections Officer Lao is a very respected member of the team. Sheng’s attention to detail, hard work ethic and leadership are often recognized by her supervisors and coworkers.

In addition to her normal duties, Sheng has trained countless new staff, teaching them not just how to do the job, but how to stay safe and how to serve with the same degree of professionalism she displays everyday.
