City of Marshfield Enters Into New 4-Year Tourism Entity Agreement with Visit Marshfield

(By Steve Barg/City Administrator) The City of Marshfield recently entered into a new 4-year Tourism Entity Agreement with Visit Marshfield.

According to Steve Barg, City Administrator with the City of Marshfield, under this agreement, the City will continue to allocate 70% of its room tax collections to Visit Marshfield, which will use the funds to promote and develop tourism in the greater Marshfield area.

One minor addition in the renewal of this agreement is to increase communication and cooperation between Visit Marshfield and the City’s other economic development partners.

Marshfield is blessed to have Visit Marshfield, Main Street Marshfield, and the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MACCI) working hard to promote tourism and business development in the community.
