Marathon County Sheriff’s Department Recognizes Graduates of the State Department of Justice’s Jail Academy

Recently, a ceremony was held to recognize a significant accomplishment for several members of the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department team.

Corrections Officer Brady Marten, Corrections Officer Scott Goranson, Corrections Officer Fong Moua, Corrections Officer Jacob Montag, Corrections Officer Mark Theobald, Corrections Officer Anthony Galvan and Corrections Officer Terrell Zurkowski graduated from the Wisconsin Department of Justice - Jail Academy at Northcentral Technical College.

During the ceremony Corrections Officer Brady Marten received the Academic Award due to having the highest test scores on the required exams and Corrections Officer Fong Moua received the Jamison Kampmeyer "Back-up" Award after being recognized by his class as the person they would most want with them in a challenging situation.
