Wausau Police Department Recognizes Four Newest Officers’ Graduation from Law Enforcement Recruit Academy

The Wausau Police Department is excited to recognize their four newest officers' graduation from the Law Enforcement Recruit Academy.

The academy experience for Ofc. Ethan Bares, Ofc. Cody Friedenfels, Ofc. Dakota Heidmann, and Ofc. Eric Valadez concluded with a ceremony held at Northcentral Technical College. Additionally, Ofc. Heidmann received the Academic Award and Ofc. Bares received the Firearms Award.

They will begin their field training experience without delay, so be on the lookout for them patrolling the city and assisting others.
