Spencer Man Accused of Homicide by Deliver of Drugs

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) A Spencer man is accused of homicide by delivery of drugs after a woman was found dead in a Wausau home last August.
According to Mike Leischner with WSAU) -Lamont Davis is accused of providing the cocktail of drugs found in her system at the time of her death. That included fentanyl and cocaine. A search of her phone provided evidence linking her to Davis.
A search of his apartment turned up drug paraphernalia and a firearm. Investigators say the victim was recently evicted from her home and had been staying with three other men in Wausau.
Davis knew the woman through social media. The 36-year-old is facing three felony counts, including homicide by reckless delivery of drugs and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Additional charges include manufacturing or delivering fentanyl and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis is jailed on a $500,000 cash bond with further court action scheduled for December 17th.
He faces more than 50 years in prison if found guilty.
