Wausau Man Indicted for Possession of Child Pornography

A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, returned several indictments including for a Wausau man charged with possessing child pornography.
Brett Hart, 23, Wausau, is charged with possessing child pornography. The indictment alleges that on December 2, 2025, Hart possessed a hard drive containing child pornography. If convicted, Hart faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
The charge against him is the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Louis Glinzak and Elizabeth Altman are handling the case.
