Minnesota Woman Hit and Killed on I-94 Near Black River Falls

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) -A pedestrian was hit and killed while walking along Interstate 94 in Jackson County, according to WEAU staff.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the incident happened Monday evening around 5:50 p.m. in the eastbound lane of I-94 near Black River Falls. The pedestrian, identified as 30-year-old Kara Meslow of Mahtomedi, Minn., was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
