Marshfield Police Department Conducting Joint Training Exercise at LEV Church in Marshfield Tuesday and Wednesday
Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 -- 2:01 PM
The Marshfield Police Department, in partnership with Marshfield Fire and Rescue, will be conducting joint training exercises at LEV Church on Spencer Street in Marshfield today, Tuesday, December 9th, and Wednesday, December 10th between 8am-7pm.
During this training, blank training rounds will be used, which may sound similar to real gunfire. Community members may also notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles and first responders in the area.
Please note that this is a scheduled and controlled exercise; there is no danger to the public. These exercises are designed to strengthen teamwork and coordination between police, fire, and EMS during high-stress emergency situations.
By preparing together, our departments are better equipped to respond quickly and effectively in the event of a real critical incident, including active shooter situations.
This training reflects their continued commitment to public safety, preparedness, and the well-being of the Marshfield community.
