Carter: "You ever watched a Hallmark movie where people are walking through the snow, through a small town with decorated windows and enjoying the festivities? Well, that can be you this weekend, Mainstreet Marshfield is hosting our holiday wine walk, and we are so excited for it, because it's a great opportunity to be out in the community and to do your holiday shopping at small businesses that are locally owned."
"And we're so excited because we have 20 different wines for you to sample this weekend, which means there's 20 different stores for you to visit, plus we also have additional stores that are hosting photos or snacks or mocktails, and it's a great opportunity to discover a new place or try a new business."
Riley: "How do people attend this event?"
Carter: "Yes, we do have tickets. It is a ticketed event. They are $35. You can buy them online at mainstreetmarshfield.com and navigate to our event site where you can purchase tickets. You can also visit our office in person. We are located at 211, South Central Avenue inside Uptown Coffee at The Coven; you can stop by our office and we will take cash, put you on our list."
"Depending on availability, we may be able to take walk-ins. However, tickets do go pretty quickly towards the end, so there's not a guarantee for a spot. We are limited to the amount of people that can attend."
Riley: "You don't have to name them all, but can mention some of the businesses that will be included on the walk?"
Carter: "Absolutely, we are really excited. We have a Gray Dog Ax Throwing stop. We have Off the Wall Custom Framing downtown, which has all sorts of really cool gifts and trinkets for you, great stocking stuffer opportunities. We also have Circle the Date downtown, which is formal wear."
"So, really just a wide variety of shops, we have everything from clothing to retail to dining, anything that people are looking for in terms of the holiday shopping. You can likely find on this walk, which is just amazing that we have so much in our downtown."
