Herman is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by East Valley Veterinarian Clinic located at 2510 Black River Road just North of Neillsville and east of the Black River. (https://eastvalleyvetclinic.net/)

Name: Herman

Age: 2-Years-Old

Breed: Mixed

Meet Herman, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Herman came to CCHS when he was found as a stray near County Hwy H, Neillsville. Herman is a mixed breed, and we can't say for sure what his breed mix is.

We can say for sure that he is one big handsome dog! He is about 2 years old and weighs 73.2#. He has a good-looking short-haired black and white coat. Herman is an energetic guy who loves to get out in our big outdoor pen to run around.

He has a big ole bark, but that's just to let you know he wants attention. Herman will probably do best as the only pet in his new home where he'd like to be treated as a king!

With any dog, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Herman today! You can submit your adoption application for Herman on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially puppies and kittens, so be sure to check them all out. You are most welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

This Saturday!! Santa and Mrs. Claus are returning to CCHS this year for our annual Pet Pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus! They will be at the Shelter on Saturday, December 6th, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

They do a wonderful job and are happy to take pictures with all kinds of pets, from cats and dogs to rats and goats! Pictures are then available for purchase as prints, email or on a flash drive. So bring your pets and make some great Holiday memories! More details are available on our website.

You can learn more about, and adopt, Herman, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
