Nomination Papers Can be Circulated for City Council and Mayor’s Seat in Marshfield

Individuals interested in serving the Marshfield community are invited to consider running for local office.

The City of Marshfield has opened the candidacy filing period for those wishing to run for Mayor or for Alderperson in Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. Monday, December 1, 2025, is the first day candidates may begin circulating nomination papers.

Completed nomination papers must be filed with the City Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Prospective candidates can find detailed information, forms, and guidance on the City Clerk’s webpage here.
