Guests Enjoy The Highground Veterans Memorial’s CAMO Workshop Designed to “Sleigh” Holiday Stress

To the cheerful tune of holiday music and under the warm glow of multicolored lights, The Highground welcomed community members and veterans to a festive CAMO workshop designed to help "sleigh" the stress of the season. 

Guests enjoyed hands-on demonstrations of clever holiday hacks, including creative gift-wrapping techniques, smart ways to organize shopping lists, and easy, delicious meal ideas perfect for busy families.

The Highground extends a special thank you to Helynn Schufletowski, who shared simple and inspiring tips for holiday light displays that brought extra sparkle to the evening.

One guest summed up the spirit of the event by saying, “It was a fun evening that got me in the holiday spirit, and I loved hearing other family traditions.” This festive workshop was part of The Highground’s Community and Military Outreach (CAMO) Program, which provides opportunities for connection, learning and support for both community members and veterans.

The Highground invites guests to the next CAMO workshop, “The Great Reset,” on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 6 pm in The Highground Welcome Center.

This workshop will help participants reclaim their space and sanity after the holiday whirlwind with practical organization hacks, cozy yet healthy meal ideas, and more.
