Thorp FFA Members Participate in Missions or IMPACT Conference

On November 13th-14th, fifteen Thorp FFA members participated in either the Missions or IMPACT Conference to enhance their skills and contribute positively to our community.

During the trip, students also visited the Air Force National Guard at Camp Douglas. Ninth and tenth-grade students attended the MISSION Conference, which is designed to help students identify and categorize the various connections in their lives while developing strategies for managing unhealthy relationships.

Eleventh and twelfth-grade students attended the IMPACT Conference, which aims to assist members in defining their personal leadership goals and creating guiding statements for their leadership development.

Participants explored different communication styles and learned how to develop a personal communication plan focused on supporting agriculture. Additionally, members drafted personal pledges and action plans outlining how they intend to lead with initiative.
