CHILDREN'S THEATRE IN TOWN

Area kids will get their chance to ?break a leg? this coming week.In cooperation with the Neillsville Area Players, the [url=http://www.mctinc.org/]Missoula Children?s Theatre[/url] will stage the Princess and the Pea Saturday, January 10th in the Neillsville High School Auditorium.
"Missoula Children?s Theatre is the nation's largest touring Children's Theatre. It's been touring for 35 years," explains Dawn Voss, who is organizing the troupe?s visit, "They have 36 teams that travel. They come to a town, put on a week's worth of practices, teaching them the songs and the dances, and these kids put on two shows in one week."
NAP have been bringing MCT to Neillsville for the past four years, and it?s always extremely well received.
"This production will be 50 to 60 children," explains Voss, "In the past, we've had to turn down children, because it is an audition. There were 122 that showed up two years ago."
After the auditions on Monday night, the cast will spend over two hours a night, Tuesday through Friday, rehearsing before the shows on Saturday, January 10 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The production is self-contained. All the props and costumes come with the theatre.
