Wisconsin Rapids Job Center Closing December 31st

(Justin Betti, WAOW) The Wisconsin Rapids Job Center at 320 West Grand Avenue will close on December 31, 2025.

According to Justin Betti with WAOW, the Organizers say the decision comes after a thorough review of facility usage and service delivery trends. Brian Kalish, executive director of Advance Wisconsin Employment, said, “We’re aligning resources to deliver more services where and how customers use them.”

Kalish added that Job Center partners are in discussions with local agencies to continue offering services to job seekers in Wisconsin Rapids, and "We look forward to announcing new in-person locations for job services in the near future.”
