City of Marshfield Updating Employee and Elected Official Email Addresses to New Domain Starting December 3rd

The City of Marshfield has officially changed its website domain to cityofmarshfieldwi.gov and will update all employee and elected official email addresses to the cityofmarshfieldwi.gov domain beginning at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.

The transition to the .gov domain improves security, enhances accessibility, and helps residents easily identify legitimate communications from the City. The .gov designation is reserved for verified government entities, offering additional trust and authenticity.

“Our goal is to make it easier and safer for everyone. Moving to a .gov domain for our email addresses reinforces our commitment to transparency, cybersecurity, and modern digital communication," said Communications Director Tom Loucks.

Residents should note that existing email addresses will continue to forward to the new domain for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.
