NO-CALL LIST POPULAR AS EVER

Wisconsin's No Call telephone registry has more numbers on it now due to the new law allowing residents to sign up cell phone numbers in addition to land lines.The January list has more than 1.6 million numbers registered. Last year's count at this time was 1,098,055. More than 421,860 mobile lines are now on the list, with 44,000 cell phone numbers added to the list in one day, the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection said this morning.
February 28 is the deadline to get on the quarterly list sent to telemarketers in April.
You can add your number to the list anytime, but when deadlines approach, nearly 100,000 registrations a day may slow things down.
