Marshfield School Board Approves School Calendars for the Next Two Years
Thursday, November 13th, 2025 -- 8:00 AM

The Marshfield School Board approved school calendars for the next two school years at their meeting on Wednesday.
The Board approved the 2026-27 and 2027-28 Academic Calendar. There were some concerns as the start dates for the next school year will occur during the Central Wisconsin State Fair on August 27th. But the last day of school for students next year will be before.
This will give the District extra time for referendum work to be completed during the summer. The next school year will be business as usual with the first day of school on September 1st and the last day of school on June 2nd. The Board also approved the Special Education Bus Aide Assistant Wage Provisions and approved the Apple iPad Lease.
Finally, the Board approved to proceed with the bidding phase on facility referendum projects for Marshfield High School; approved student travel to Decorah, IA for the Dorian Vocal Festival in January of 2026; and approved the Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the Annual WASB Convention.
The Board also approved the retirements, resignations, and new hires; mentioned the 2026 School Board election dates, and mentioned the Veterans Day Program that was held on Tuesday.
The Board also approved a long list of donations including:
- 40 crocheted hats valued at $96 from Spencer Crafting Angels;
- A 2007 Yamaha P22 Upright Piano, donated to the MHS Music Department, valued at $5,000 and moving expenses in the amount of $300 from Christy Linderholm;
