Name: Briar
Age: 2-Years-Old
Breed: Shiba Inu Mix?
Meet Briar, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Briar came to CCHS from a local farm earlier in October. This dashing boy is about 2 years old and weighs roughly 21.2 # currently.
Briar is ready to bolt into your life and fill it with all the love he's got! He has such a gentle demeanor and need for affection! He can't wait to be loved on in any way he can!
We were told that Briar is a Shiba Inu mix, but we really aren't too sure about that. We do know that he's a handsome fellow with a short-haired red and white coat with warm brown eyes and a slightly fluffy tail.
Briar is ready to find his furever family and spend the rest of his life adventuring right by their side! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the dog.
If you're looking for a new best friend, please apply for Briar today! You can submit your adoption application for Briar on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/ applying-to-adopt.
We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially puppies and kittens, so be sure to check them all out. You are most welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!
Save the Date! Santa and Mrs. Claus are returning to CCHS this year for our annual Pet Pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus! They will be at the Shelter on Saturday, December 6th, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
They do a wonderful job and are happy to take pictures with all kinds of pets, from cats and dogs to rats and goats! Pictures are then available for purchase as prints, email or on a flash drive. So bring your pets and make some great Holiday memories! More details will be available on our website soon.
You can learn more about, and adopt, Briar, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
