Relining of Sewer Lines on Several Neillsville Streets Beginning November 13th

Neillsville residents on certain streets will have work done on the sewer lines leading to their property next week.

Visu-Sewer will be relining the mainline sanitary sewer that properties on the following streets are connected to including Highway 10, Oak Street, Hill Street, and Ayer Street on Thursday, November 13th from 11am to 7pm.

Relining allows for renewing the existent sewer without the inconvenience of conventional digging and relaying. During the work, the sewer laterals on the above mentioned streets will be temporarily disconnected from the main sewer. Relining is normally completed in one day with two shifts.

To avoid problems, residents should pour one gallon of water down each of your floor drains and basement sinks before the 13th. If your sump pump empties directly into the sanitary sewer, place a damp cloth over the sump/crock.

Use your toilet only if necessary and discontinue use of all water including washing machines, dish washers, bath tubs, showers, sinks, and sump pumps, if hooked to the sanitary sewer, on the 13th.
