United Way’s Supplies 4 Success Drive Equipped Over 700 Children in a Backpack and School Supplies this Past Summer

This past summer, United Way’s Supplies 4 Success Backpack & School Supply Drive equipped over 700 children in Marshfield and the surrounding communities with a backpack, school supplies, and hygiene kits to start the school year strong.

They know that so much goes into a child’s success and equipping them with the right tools is a good first step. One resident stated, “I am a single mother of four. United Way’s Supplies 4 Success and Fresh Start 4 Kids helped me in so many ways."

"One being that it decreased my stress on getting my kids the supplies they need to go back to school successfully. Second, everyone was so kind and helpful. I try to give back to the community any way I can, but sometimes it is hard. Being able to participate in this event made me almost cry.”

“There are so many kind people in this town that have been willing to help my family when we need some extra assistance. This event helped to give my kids the tools they need and gave me a newfound hope. I am so very thankful.”
