Marshfield Children's Hospital Hosts Halloween Trick-or-Treat Event

(Justin Betti, WAOW) Marshfield Children's Hospital hosted a Halloween trick-or-treating event on Friday for young patients and their siblings.

According to Justin Betti with WAOW, more than a dozen children participated, dressed in costumes and visiting over 25 tables set up by various Marshfield Clinic departments. The event, organized by the Child Life Program, has been a tradition for 27 years.

It ensures young patients who can't go out for Halloween due to medical care still enjoy the holiday. Child Life specialists prepared treat bags for those unable to attend, ensuring all could partake in the festivities.

Dolly Pawton, the Child Life facility dog, also made a special appearance.
